There are literally hundreds of garden magazines that offer
advice to homeowners for a flourishing garden. But how do you know you
are reading the best garden magazine on the rack. Here are some of the
more popular garden magazines and what they have to offer.
As any true green thumb will tell you, one of the best resources for a
full and lush garden is a good garden magazine. A garden magazine
features a collection of advice and techniques combined with
advertisement for products that will improve the look and feel of your
garden. Sometimes it can be difficult to wade through the myriad of
magazines to find the one that will provide you with the best advice.
Here are a few of my favorites.
The Garden Magazine Guide
- Better Homes and Gardens. This is one of the
oldest and most reliable garden magazines on the market. If you can get
through all of the advertisements, the advice and techniques in Better
Homes and Gardens is some of the best you can find.
- Organic Gardening. This garden magazine has ridden
the organic wave all the way to the magazine racks. With helpful tips
on the most effective Organic Gardening techniques, Organic Gardening
will show you how to grow the healthiest vegetables for your kitchen
table.
- Horticulture Online. This online garden magazine
is a good one because it covers growing vegetables, plants, and flowers
in your garden. It also has a great online forum where members can
share tips and techniques with other members.
- You Grow Girl. This is a great magazine for the
newbie gardener. It specializes in the most basic garden growing
information written in a language that the inexperienced gardener can
understand. If you are new to the garden game, this just might be the
magazine for you.
