Autumn is the time of year when many garden centers start putting up their holiday displays, while others get ready to close down until spring and most have no desire to carry their inventory of lawn and garden equipment and supplies over until next year.

Whether your local garden centers are large or small, they have money tied up in the inventory on their shelves and few want to go through the winter with all those funds tied up.
