Wondering About Water?

Choosing the best lawn sprinkler system to meet your lawn care needs can be confusing with all of the products flooding the market. How to Pick a Lawn Sprinkler and Installer

  • Step 1: water pressure and flow rate. Some residential water pressure can't support certain sprinkler systems, so it's important to know yours. Then the installer can determine if a pump or other device may help.
  • Step 2: lawn maintenance needs. Some types of plants or areas may need more water than others. Where should you place the sprinkler heads, what direction should they face, and how much coverage do you need?
  • Step 3: check your installer's credentials and experience, and ensure you hire someone willing to talk with you about your individual lawn care needs and answer all your questions.

Concerned About Conservation?

As more people become aware of the environmental issues facing our planet, the demand for eco-friendly products has grown. This applies to lawn sprinklers, too.

Many automatic lawn sprinkler systems can save water, if used correctly. Weather sensors (such as rain, wind, and freeze sensors) and drip irrigation help to control the amount of water released and meet your lawn care needs more precisely than simply dragging out the hose and watering the lawn yourself. Drip irrigation, for instance, can conserve up to 300 times more water than conventional sprinkler spray heads since it delivers water directly to the plants' roots.

Consider these features for your sprinkler system, and along with your lawn you can give the planet some care too.
